Mubarak's ill-gotten wealth amounts US $70bn

Hosni Mubarak
After almost 30 years of dictatorial rule, Hosni Mubarak, his sons, Gamal and Alaa, his wife Suzanne have accumulated a family fortune estimated to be around US $70 billion.

In an article published in The Guardian online news website states the Egyptian President has cash in British and Swiss banks plus billions of dollars of worth property in the West. Mubarak’s sons are also billionaires, and much of the real estate owned by them is in the United Kingdom and the United States.

This vast sum of personal wealth has been gained through corruption and stifling of public resources for personal gain.
